A browser game about money

Circle of Life

You wake up in your childhood bedroom with $500 and ninety days to find your own place. Get a job, learn the town, and work out how to stop needing the job.

An email address is all it takes — we send you a link, there's no password to invent.

Your phone is the interface: work, bank, shop, and buy things that pay you.

Three things to aim at

  1. 01

    Move out

Land a job, turn up for your shifts, save a deposit. Your parents are serious about the ninety days.

  2. 02

    Keep the lights on

Buy something that earns while you sleep — a vending machine, a market stall — until it covers the utilities and the phone bill on its own.

  3. 03

    Independence

Own enough that every bill is covered, rent included. Then working is a choice. That's the game, and it takes about 2 hours.

What you'll need

A desktop browser and a keyboard. You walk around with WASD and use things with E, and there are no touch controls — on a phone you'd get a town you can't walk through. Sound is optional and can be muted in-game.

Your game saves as you play, so you can close the tab and come back to the same day. You can keep several games on the go.
